Lana Condor’s role of Lara Jean in the movie To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, has made her very popular and liked by many people. Even tho some people might think they know her from her role in the movie, here are some things to know about this beautiful and talented actress.

1. She has a close relationship with her co-star Noah Centineo

2. She still gets emotional over the impact of the movie

The show has been a big hit among both younger and older audience. One thing is for sure, many younger girls are looking up to Lana and her character in the movie. Even tho it’s big pressure, Lana says she couldn’t be happier.

“I had a dad come up to me the other day, and he said, ‘I know I’m not the obvious target for your movie, but I just want to tell you that I’m really excited for when my daughter is a little older to watch it because I’m so happy that she has someone she can see that looks like her,'” she told Rollercoaster magazine, according to E! Online.

3. She was born in Vietnam

She was born in Vietnam but was adopted as a child and raised in Chicago. “I was born in Vietnam and I was adopted by an Irish lady and a Hungarian man, and then I moved to America,” she told Teen Vogue. “So, in a way, I grew up in a mixed household, because my brother and I are Asian, and our parents are white.”

4. Her first kiss was a dare in elementary school

“It was a weird textural experience that I don’t want to go through again,” she said. “I was like, I’m never kissing anyone again. I don’t know why everyone’s kissing each other!”

She used to train with Joffrey Ballet and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She was also a competitive equestrian.

7. She may be a guest on Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s wedding

“We actually lived together for a second in Montreal when we were shooting,” she told Comso Australia. “We all got really close and Sophie is an incredible girl. That’s who I spent most of my time with.”

8. She has actually been taken for three years now

He even writes her love letters! “He’s done that since we started dating and I keep them all,” she told Us Weekly. “We try to keep the spark alive!”

“I still write love letters now and so does my boyfriend,” she told Rollercoaster magazine, according to E! Online. “He even draws pictures on the front. I would say he’s more romantic than I am!”

9. Despite her longterm relationship, she still loved filming the kissing scenes in the movie

“I think my favorite was when Lara Jean comes up to him and she’s like, ‘Let’s do this’ and he just grabs her and kisses her in front of everyone, not caring at all what anyone else thought,” she told the Decider. “I love that because it was so unexpected. But then also the hot tub scene was great because we got to spend the day in the hot tub. Filming kissing scenes with Noah was one of my favorite things.”
